Shakes were ok (should have went to carvel), but by the time they arrived, I had plenty of time to reconsider my life choices.

Chicken sandwich was tasty. That yo-yo sauce definitely made it taste even better. Waffle fries were good as well. I like that they gloves at all the tables in case it gets messy for you. The chocolate milkshake was delicious. So o can’t really say anything bad about this place. It’s no Dave’s Hot Chicken but for something local. I’d check this place out again.
- ZZzolokoJan 1, 20261.0I’ve tried this spot too many times to count and this is my final verdict on it. To start off service and atmosphere is very nice, but that’s where the line is drawn. The food is poorly put together. The Mac & cheese is the equivalent of a dollar tree box of make at home Mac. The chicken lacks quality, think of it as the same thing you would get from the bodega for 2-3 bucks. The sauce is alright, many restaurants and chains have better sauces. The beef in their foods is pretty good, I liked the smash burger, that’s about it though. With all this being said for they charge, the food doesn’t meet that price by any means. I don’t even think they would do better by lowering prices because it’s not a supply chain issue, rather a skill set of cooking issue. If they keep going at this rate I’d see them leaving Bayonne within the year or two after the hot chicken hype dies down.
