  I had an absolutely exceptional experience at Margaritaville in Atlantic City, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter, Quan. From the moment we were seated, Quan demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. He was incredibly hardworking, constantly moving with purpose while still making every guest feel seen and valued. His polite and respectful demeanor stood out immediately, and he communicated clearly, confidently, and with a warm, welcoming attitude that made the entire dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. Quan was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly and on time. He checked in just the right amount not too much, not too little which showed his strong sense of awareness and customer service skills. His patience, positive energy, and dedication to doing his job well truly set him apart. It’s rare to come across someone so consistent, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence. Quan represents exactly what outstanding service should look like, and because of him, I would absolutely return again and recommend this place to anyone looking for not just good food, but top-tier service.

  Two visits. Same outcome. That’s not a coincidence—it’s a pattern. Margaritaville Atlantic City turned a simple meal into a multi-hour ordeal—1 hour for drinks, 1.5 for appetizers, 2 hours for entrées—and still couldn’t get the basics right. First visit: rude, hostile staff and management that brushed it off with a comped appetizer like that fixes behavior. Second visit: food quality issues (old-tasting chicken, rotten salad, tiny upcharged portions) and zero follow-through beyond empty apologies. At this point, it’s not slow service—it’s a complete lack of standards from top to bottom. There are too many decent places in Atlantic City to waste time somewhere that consistently gets it this wrong. MANAGEMENT DO BETTER!

  We waited 2 hours to get our food. The Apps took over an hour to come out and only came out after I spoke to the manager Ashley. They were ice cold so clearly they just forgot. The entrees came out cold as well and again only came out after Ashley saw me coming to complain again. She hid in the kitchen after that. Absolutely awful experience which ruined our dinner. Ashley blamed a shift change on why everything took so long but that’s unacceptable and we were not the only table complaining. Bad food, no jimmy buffet even playing, just a terrible experience. Stay away and go anywhere else.
