This place is iconic. We took the kids here for the 1st time and they loved looking at all the animals and decorations. They loved the thunderstorms. Our server Youssef was wonderful and very attentive. We never went without beverages. Food came out quickly and was very good. Prices for adult menu items are a bit high, $22-29 on average. My husband and I went with the $10.49 salad and it was a nice portion. Kids meals wete between $9-14. We didn't really walk around the gift shop but they had a lot of stuff.

We visited Rainforest Café during a rainy day in Atlantic City, and while it was a fun place—especially for a child—the service left much to be desired. We didn’t have a reservation but were seated promptly, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, our server immediately gave the impression of being annoyed by our presence. From the moment he approached, he asked if we were ready to order without offering drinks first or making us feel welcomed. As someone who has waited tables, I know the importance of making guests feel comfortable, especially when they’re taking time for a little weekend getaway.
His greeting is after we sat down took a bit longer than expected, and checking out was also frustrating. When I asked to pay with my card with Apple pay, the server insisted he had to take me to the bar. I tried to explain politely, but he seemed irritated and walked away. I eventually walked to the bar, where a kind staff member helped me without issue. During the process, the server complaining to the other employee about who knows what and then proceeded to stand over me while I was tipping, which felt very rude and unprofessional.
Michael, if this was a bad day, I understand, but as a server it’s important to leave personal frustrations at the door and remain positive. I came out in pouring rain with my child to give him a fun experience, and the service unfortunately overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable outing.
The restaurant itself is fun and visually appealing for kids, but I hope management provides training to ensure all guests feel welcomed and valued.

Terrible service, first they say our party can’t be seated until everyone everyone’s fully here, but let a different party who was barely here and ended up being a big party sit, when they bring things to the table they got all in my personal space and almost hit me and my cousin in our heads, the girl who took our pictures and wanted us to buy it had an off putting attitude and was rushing us to buy the picture as we were eating then when we decided not to buy the pictures her attitude worsened and every time she was over her hijab got in my food and every time someone was setting things on the table they would reach over me (when it was NOT needed) and they have an automatic tip, which for us was $48 for subpar service which is frustrating and the fries were soggy and cold and the food overall was not good

The manager Alexey was absolutely amazing ⭐ ✨ and accommodating! Our waiter Melvin was a great ✨!! Sadly, the food and atmosphere wasn't like it use to be. We missed all the fish that use to grace the tank, the movable animals, the smoke, etc. Everything as far as entertainment portion was minimal. 😢 The food was comparable to TGIF, Applebee's or Chili's 🌶️. So, if your really hungry and don't require fine dining, this is your place. You will have get service though!!!!

I was disappointed in our visit. It was clean and festive. We went during the day so it wasn't too loud or busy. The food was OK. I didn't finish my meal but had no desire to bring it home to eat later.
The part I was most disturbed about was that they wouldn't let us take my mother's wheelchair to the table. At first they told us she had to leave it with stroller parking and walk to the table. Finally they said we could take her to the table, she could transfer to a chair then take her wheelchair back to stroller. I felt thisbwas completely unreasonable (and also possible illegal). They claimed there was no room for wheelchairs at the tables. Mind you EVEN IF that is a reason to not allow mobility/medical equipment into the dining area we were one of 3 patries in the resultant. I would have argued but we were with other and I didn't want to make a scene.
It may have been a uneducated/ill-trained hostess but as a corporate resturant shame on them
