  We were a party of 13 for dinner, six of whom were kids. The staff were very accommodating setting up two parallel tables. Restaurant had a very nice relax vibe with live music in the separate bar area. The food surpassed our expectations, as did the level of service we received from Alex----she was amazing! Thank you staff for making our night so memorable! Highly recommend this gem!

  Service was super slow. Waited like 20 minutes before even being approached by the waitress. When the food FINALLY arrived, it was room temperature at best bordering on cold. Pulled pork Mac and cheese is not a difficult dish. The missed the mark hard! I won’t be going back.

  Really disappointing experience at Dox. We waited over 20 minutes just to get a margarita, and it went downhill from there. I ordered a dish based on the menu description and received ingredients that weren’t listed at all. When I asked, I was told I should “always ask what they throw on top,” which is not acceptable. Our meal — one pasta dish and one pot pie — took almost two hours. The server, bartender, and management were all incredibly inattentive throughout the night. We won’t be returning.

  Had an enjoyable meal at Dox for valentines. Their steak au poivre was amazing! I normally have an issue when ordering a steak and have it cooked to my liking. Dox nailed it and the sauce was incredible! Highly recommend Dox on Winnisquam! PS...the bartender is great!! Wish I knew her name but kudos to her!!
