On the other hand, there should be at the very least a minimum for quality and I feel this meal failed to even meet that minimum. However, my gripe is not with the overworked and underpaid employees. I blame private equity (JAB Holding Company has owned Panera since ~2017). I was traveling and was desperate for something that wasn’t fried for breakfast, and unfortunately, this wasn’t it. I don’t even think this could be considered a snack. I’m not necessarily mad. Just extremely disappointed.

I shouldn’t have to heat up food I just bought it’s ridiculous. Also when we first came in there was a guy at front counter ignoring us and not taking our order until I raised my voice and asked if he could. This is ridiculous and a terribly way to treat people who are paying for the food and then the guy sat there saying he couldn’t take my order as a “joke” after I was standing here for almost 10 minutes. They need to do their job properly. Also I asked for a bread bowl with soup and didn’t get that. Unacceptable.
