The bread and overall taste suggested they had been made on Friday and left in the refrigerator until our Sunday am pickup—far from fresh. This was not what we expect from Hannaford, especially for a family holiday event. Due to the poor quality, most of the sandwiches were thrown away, which was an enormous waste of money. At this price point, we expected fresh ingredients and basic quality control, neither of which were met. This experience was both frustrating and unacceptable. We will be sure to inform family and friends in the area to avoid Hannaford’s prepared foods offerings.
