Thats perfectly fine. I call this location 2.5 miles from my work just with a hope they could but not expecting it. I started off asking if the delivery times are slow before I even asked so I would know. 20 minutes. Then was nice and asked if they could just go the extra mile and I would leave a very nice tip. If you can't not the end of the world. He said he would ask a manager. Leaves me on hold for a minute then says "We can't do that because that wouldn't be fair for our actual customers" so am I no a customer just because I am an extra mile away and your other store can't have a single driver in? Just could've said no! 😅
