- JKJim KlinderJan 5, 20261.0The meat department in the Lancaster, NH Shaws is ridiculously bad. It's impossible to find meat that has a couple days of life on it before the sell by date has expired. For example, I went in yesterday, Sunday January 4th, and found a handful of steaks that had a sell by date of January 4th. The rest all expired. The vast majority expired on January 2. Routinely, the steaks are discolored and smell funky, even if you manage to find one that hasn't expired.
