I have had this problem multiple times. They are open till 9 but they shut down the seafood department at 7 which i think is ridiculous but it wasn't even close to 7... I for the first time actually asked for the manager and that only made it worse. She smirked at me and said we're short staffed sorry... I was going to buy multiple groceries for the week. I left without anything because of the rude store manager. I have had more problems then good here. The food is poor quality and have of it is rotting on the shelves. You have to sort through the bad and I'm used to it.. sadly. But this takes the cake! Corporate please do something since there's nothing else in town. Your manager should be ashamed.

Won't ever be stepping foot near there again.

- JKJim KlinderJan 5, 20261.0The meat department in the Lancaster, NH Shaws is ridiculously bad. It's impossible to find meat that has a couple days of life on it before the sell by date has expired. For example, I went in yesterday, Sunday January 4th, and found a handful of steaks that had a sell by date of January 4th. The rest all expired. The vast majority expired on January 2. Routinely, the steaks are discolored and smell funky, even if you manage to find one that hasn't expired.
