  I have been here twice on my birthday. They always make a big deal of it even if you don't want it 😅 tonight the owner Oneta came over to check on us, I jokingly said I wish they had crab rangoons (we were having sushi). This woman got crab rangoons from the Chinese restaurant next door and brought them to my table with sparklers and champagne. I am speechless. Insane. Great service from Brittney. Amazing personality. Honestly best restaurant experience ive had since before covid! Keep it up guys! You've got something special here. Ps they made me a custom sushi roll and it was the best sushi ive ever had in my life 😍

  Long story short: food and drinks ranged from bland to bad, do not recommend. Longer story: My boyfriend and I made a dinner reservation. After correctly identifying the front entrance as multiple signs told us to (but did not indicate the location of) we had to practically shout across the restaurant to talk to the staff and communicate our reservation. Once seated, the vibes felt very off (the smell and decor indicated that we were in an overly expense boutique-esque home decor store, not to mention the general atmosphere), but we decided to give the place a chance as the menu had interested us and we’d made it this far. Over 25 minutes after we were seated, we finally met our waitress. It was another 20+ minutes to receive our drinks (one of which was only a beer), but thankfully the entrees we ordered with the drinks came shortly after. Several bites in and we looked at each other and instantly knew neither dish was good. I got the fried tofu, which was pretty much tasteless except for the heat in the sauce. My boyfriend got the coconut curry mussels, which upon trying myself I surprisingly not only described as tasteless but bad. I commend him for eating more than one mussel. I wish I could say that my cocktail made up for the dish, but the truth is far from it. We signaled for the check as fast as we could. The waitress never asked us how our food was (I was fully prepared for my answer: terrible).

  This place is a gem. Amazing service, food is exceptional and decor is great. They also have a good happy hour. I will be recommending this place moving forward.

  We had a 7:30 PM reservation and were not seated until 8:10 PM. When we arrived, the hostess did not greet us. During the 40 minutes we waited, she only addressed the room once, saying, “I’m doing my best,” without offering a meaningful update. When I politely asked for a realistic time estimate, she was dismissive and rude rather than helpful. The experience felt disorganized from the start. More concerning was how our server handled food allergies. My boyfriend has serious tree nut, peanut, and shellfish allergies. When we asked about cross-contamination and whether the friolator was safe, the waitress did not seem to understand the severity of the situation. I had to clarify multiple times, and her response was a casual, “Oh yeah, I’ll ask,” which was alarming given the potential health risks involved. An hour after initially taking our order, she returned to ask for it again because it had not been properly entered. We ultimately did not receive our food until nearly two hours after being seated. By that point, the evening felt more stressful than enjoyable. The restaurant presents itself as upscale, but the execution does not match the image. It feels like it is trying to accommodate too many different aesthetics without a clear identity, which makes the experience feel inauthentic and, unfortunately, untrustworthy — especially when it comes to something as serious as food safety. Overall, the lack of organization, communication, and allergy awareness made what should have been a special evening feel frustrating and disappointing.
