  Ethan was incredibly helpful today. I have a "guest" who is joining us between Christmas and New Year. He is NOT even family, but he emailed a list of his dietary restrictions and desires. Amy's Organic Soup, low sodium, low-fat chunky vegetable is on the list. This location only had two cans, so Ethan is going to order some in for me to arrive on Friday. That should demonstrate not only my superior hosting skills, but our inclusion for this wayward soul during the holiday. Thanks, Ethan. I know that it's going to be a heck of a week wtih last minute Christmas shopping. Breathe and know that you did a good thing! You rock!

  The cashier was snippy 0900 today, the meat clerk was nervous about me shopping, used a $10 off coupon (no I wasn't getting $50 worth trash bags) but through it all there were great deals to be had on split breasts chicken, ground beef, turkeys, coke 24 pk. All a buzz over new construction next to it and talk of a McDonalds and an apt. bldg. Most toxic environment experienced of many stores-store manager alerted by same meat clerk survey your cart during visit and are posted near the exit after checkout, much like BJ's where they clear you to leave. As a design change suggestion-the office between c/o and produce occupies precious and needed space-get rid of it and open the space up.
