While doing so, the employee working at the cash register targeted and harassed my son, falsely accusing him of vaping inside the store. My son does not vape and has never done so. Both he and his father calmly explained this multiple times, yet the employee continued pressing the accusation in an aggressive manner. This interaction left both my son and his father feeling extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. It is our belief that my son was racially profiled, singled out because he is Latino and was wearing baggy pants, a Dodgers Jersey and a backwards cap. Instead of treating him with the same respect and courtesy afforded to other customers, this employee chose to make harmful assumptions about his character based solely on appearance. No child, or customer of any age should have to endure racial profiling and public humiliation when simply picking up food!! I would avoid this location at all costs.
