Disappointed would be an understatement. I rarely leave bad reviews (if ever) but I had to in this case. I went in and pre-ordered a cookie cake a few days in advance. The lady at the counter asked me specific questions about what I wanted on said cake. Here are the specifications I gave: only blue and purple frosting, frosting only on the outside rim of the cake (because my friend doesn’t like much frosting), and to put “90” instead of spelling out the word, and take a look at what I received… I could have been fine with them getting literally everything wrong that I asked for, except they spelled NINETY wrong. How does that even happen. If you want a cake done well and at least what you asked for, do not come here. By the looks of the other reviews for individual cookies, I would say the same goes for that too. This was a $30 cake btw.
Edit after seeing their response:
This response is absolutely wild. Instead of just apologizing for getting every single thing wrong that I asked and payed for, you come back with a 3 paragraph defense? I specifically said I wanted 90 in letter, NOT spelled out. I would have never asked for it spelled out, because that's now how this phrase is spelled, in regards to what I needed the cake for. Also, you’re saying the person who wrote the order made all these mistakes and you’re taking no accountability for it? Also assuming I knew you guys hired disabled people (I had no idea) and that I would want them in trouble? Extremely rude, uncalled for, and unprofessional on your end. ALSO assuming because I left a poor review, I’m with a competing cookie company? Take a look at some of your other reviews and unsatisfied customers. Not to mention this is one of the only negative reviews I’ve ever left in my life. It’s not like I’m out here doing this for fun or some secret agent spy out to get your cookie company. I wanted others to know they cannot depend on this company to do what was asked. It’s not even just the spelling, that was just the worst part.
I did notice when she opened the cake at first glance that the colors and amount of frosting were incorrect, I was for sure willing to overlook that part. Unfortunately I was on a time limit and didn't have time to wait for another cake to be made entirely, when this was placed for a pick up order. I did try calling multiple times after noticing the misspelling, but it said "user busy" every time, all evening. Leaving a poor review was the only thing fit in this scenario, and many other people agreed with me.
Also, how can you say in the same response that you don't recognize me as a customer but also had verification of me "nodding my head in approval" ?
I will be making sure I never spend another dollar here or anyone I know does. Coming for someone's character personally when you don't even know them, calling them a liar in one form or another, and I was a paying customer, is not making you guys look too good on your end. Unprofessional is the best word to use here.
I know nothing is perfect in this world. My initial review really wasn't even that bad, I quite literally just stated facts about my experience. So strange to assume you know someone so well you've never even met. I am all about spreading love and kindness in a dark world, but that is certainly not what your response to my review was reflecting. You crossed a line, so I felt lead to respond and stand up for myself. You never know what someone is going through.
I'm not one to ever be rude or come back with a response like this, but this is insane guys. Do better.
