A close friend of mine completed the Shucks Oyster Challenge exactly as advertised — spending a lot of time and money with the expectation that her name would be added to the wall and she'd receive a $100 gift card. Three years later, after countless attempts to resolve this with management at multiple locations and even the owner, nothing has been honored. No name on the wall. No gift card. Now they won't even return her calls. She was a loyal customer who brought many of us along with her, but none of us go anymore because we feel misled and disappointed. If a business advertises a challenge with rewards, they should stand behind it. This experience feels like false advertising and shows a lack of integrity.
