  Went out for seafood here the other night and it was pretty good overall. I ordered the shrimp and a small crab plate, and everything tasted fresh which I always worry about with seafood places. The seasoning was simple but nice, not too salty or heavy. Service was friendly, maybe a little slow when it got busy but nothing crazy. The place itself had a relaxed vibe, kinda the type of spot you just sit and enjoy your meal without rushing. Prices were a bit higher than I expected, but the portion was decent. I’d probably come back again when I’m craving seafood.

  Hello I just left shucks, down on Leavenworth Street. My son and I had the most best experience from the waiter to the atmosphere. We just felt very comfortable there and welcome there. I told Man we will be back if I was rating you from 1 to 10 I will give you a 12. Thank you for a wonderful eating experience. Thank you you have a good day.

  Being a local Omaha native, I'm so surprised that im having to leave 2 Star's on what i thought was a highly top rated place as Shucks. I've been coming here for years. First, as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a server not the hostess. She didn't pay any attention to us at all or speak one word. She looked to be a very young child. The waiter was very nice. The food was not what we expected.. the Lobster Roll bread was dry and tasted old. The lobster was very cold and soaked in butter that just tasted off and not worth $37!! Oh, with a side of fries. I ordered the Crab linguine, it was spicy which was fine but need extra salt and Alfredo sauce for it to taste like a decent dish. The crab was sprinkled on top in like a dry crumb like mini bites? I was so confused and disappointed. For the amount I spent, I expected a lot more flavor from both dishes. Also, we ordered the green beans as an appetizer and the amount that we received was portioned for a child. I will not be returning to shucks downtown anytime soon.

  Oysters awesome! Friendly staff ask for an old fashioned with South Dakota! Wednesday has peel and eat and $1.50 oysters that are awesome! Love this I will be back
