  It's McDonald's. The food is edible. It will feed you. Is it good? It's McDonald's. The customer service is straightforward. But there is no eagerness or joy coming from any of the workers. Which makes sense. After all, where are they working? It's McDonald's. "Then just quit!" But then no more McDonald's. Atmosphere is empty. Corporate. Modern. Soulless. It's McDonald's. 5 stars. This is exactly what is to be expected.

  Every time I order nuggets the give me a blatantly inadequate amount of sauce. Who is going to use one sweet and sour pack for a 20 piece? This isnt a one time occurrence either, its more often occuring than not.

  TL/DR: the drive-through closes randomly at night and you find out when you get there. Reoccurring issues with “the system” make it impossible to predict delivery order cancellations for drivers and customers. When this happens, delivery orders remain active and cycle from one driver to the next as staff informs each driver of the system failure upon arrival. . . Website says this location is open 24 hours on weekends. 2:30am Sat night / Sun morning the drive-through was closed, staff refusing in-person orders stating they were only making delivery orders. Luckily for me, I was picking up an active delivery order. At the window I was told the system had “automatically canceled” it and that nothing could be done. The employee could not confirm the reason and stated that since a recent system update, the tablet cancels delivery orders “for no reason.” I contacted the customer, who confirmed the order was still active and not canceled on their end. Every system involved said something different, yet the end result was the same: no food for anyone. If the drive-through is closed and delivery “doesn’t work” what are you guys doing in there, guarding the McNuggets?

  McDonald’s on 40th is the bomb.com!!! The guy working the window Ali deserves the biggest shout out!! He went above and beyond making sure my food was hot and all correct (which means so much because I always have to check the bag to make sure they aren’t missing anything at my normal location lol) as well as making sure the cookies I ordered were fresh out the oven. Ali was so sweet and friendly really serving up smiles and laughter as well as HOT FRESH food!!! GET THIS GUY A RAISE!!!! Will definitely be making 40th my new go to location!! Thank you Ali!!!!
