I don't know what they put in the dill potato salad (dill and potatoes probably) but that stuff is like crack it's so good. Also I have gotten great service every time I walk in. - RDRob DuwaOct 23, 20251.0First time eating at Blatt and will not be returning. Was attending an event across the street at CHI Health Center so decided to eat here for the convenience. Big mistake. First off took almost 10 minutes after being seated for a server to bring us menus. Then we had to flag the server back down as it seemed like she had forgotten about us without even taking our orders. We finally put our orders in and drinks were brought out first or should I say drink. She only brought my friends drink and not mine. I didn't say anything as I figured it wasn't ready yet although it was just a soda so seemed odd. Well we never saw that server again for the night she was replaced in the middle of our visit by another server. I mentioned to him I never received my drink (which i prob requested 20 minutes earlier) and so it was finally brought. Glass was maybe 8oz full of ice and the soda was $3.50 About 15 minutes later server stopped back to ask if I wanted a refill. I didn't request one he stopped and asked so I said sure. At the end when the bill comes I'm charged for 2 sodas (and again extremely tiny) as I guess refills aren't free here? Never been to a restaurant that doesn't provide free refills on soda. Especially when the server asks without a request he should have told be right then as I would have said no. On top of all that the food is avg at best. Do not let its convenient location next to the Health Center be a determining factor in you visiting this establishment. The food is avg and the service is terrible. Do not recommend!
