  Here’s a strong but fair negative review: ⸻ I was pretty disappointed with my experience at 7 Brew in Norfolk. The coffee itself was great—no complaints there—but the service really brought everything down. The line was backed up for way too long, and it was obvious why. The employee working line 2 seemed more interested in chatting than actually taking orders, while line 1 was moving quickly and efficiently. It created a frustrating imbalance and made the wait feel even longer than it should have been. It’s unfortunate because the product is solid, but the lack of urgency and attention to customers in line made the experience frustrating. Hopefully management addresses this, because better service would make a big difference.

  The drinks at least tasted very good. What wasn’t very good; getting charged for, what I thought was supposed to be my order (turns out it was someone else’s order), being told that the payment did not go through and then paying for what I actually did ordered. And then proceeding to wait 15 minutes in line before getting my drink filled to the absolute top with ice.

  I have given them multiple chances and enjoy my drink when they actually have the ingredients. Three times now I have taken time to drive there for the only drink I like, cold brew and heavy cream, and they don’t have cold brew or they don’t have heavy cream. Most recently just today. Their sign is flashing in front of me advertising cold brew, but they don’t have any, and if you’re wondering it was at noon. I don’t think I will waste my time again. Back to trusty Starbucks. Sad because I do like the taste of 7 brew. Just not worth my time wasting my entire lunch break driving there and waiting in line to leave with nothing.

  Double drive thru lines but every single time I go the lines are so long. The employees wait until the last minute to go outside to take orders but they only do 1 line!! The level of incompetence and lack of moving with a purpose is infuriating. Like, why can’t 2 people go out and take orders?! I’m writing this while in line and 8 cars in the opposite line have gotten their order and I haven’t even moved!! It’s ridiculous. Makes me never want to come here. It’s every single time. Why can’t yall be more like Dutch bro or chic-fil-a?!

  The staff is always smiling and friendly. It's the only place we go now.
