Okay, this is a bit to unpack. I've never ordered here; I usually go to the DD on Cornhusker. But this was on my route home, so I figured it should be fine. I should have looked at the reviews. Anyway. I ordered a coffee, a sandwich, and a donut for pickup. I get there, the lady at the coffee machine looks busy, the lady on the drive thru register is asking why the car outside is waiting, and the (I think) shift manager is dealing with some deliveries and is on her way outside. My order is waiting, but its missing the donut. Meanwhile, the shift manager comes back, asks the register lady about some donut order (blank look), and the coffee lady about some bagels a dude outside ordered and is missing from his order (blank look). A nother customer comes in looking for her order, doesn't get addressed by anyone. Finally, I'm able to ask the coffee lady for my missing donut, and it takes her forever to figure out where that type of donut even is. But whatever, yay, got my donut. Good luck guys, hope they have a better day because good lord, they ain't having one today. On my way home, I realize I was given the wrong sandwich.
All in all, the sandwich was good, the coffee was fine. The service here is messy. Like, I don't know if it is a management issue (or lack thereof), or an employee issue (lazy or untrained, idk), or a work culture issue (only the shift manager seemed to gaf?), or just a bad day.
I imagine it is a culture issue. My husband apparently doesn't order here ever because they messed up his orders more than once. The last time he came there was over 6 months ago. So I don't know. In any case, unless something changes, I would NOT recommend going here unless you're willing to wait on orders that will likely take forever to come out OR be willing to get your order redone or just eat the wrong order.
I'm just gonna stick with the DD on Cornhusker. They've literally never messed up my order. The only issue I have with them is that everyone seems to like them, so they're often out of the donut I like.
