This review is based on multiple experiences I've had at this location. I usually don't leave reviews, but the customer service isn't very good. A few of the staff there aren't friendly and kind of stare at you when you ask a question. It's a little rude, I won't lie. I don't expect them to be smiling all of the time and acting like we're best friends, but they do make you feel stupid for simply asking questions or trying to order. However, the food and the smoothies are amazing. They've never gotten my order wrong and the quality is great. The food and convenience is the only reason I come to this location.
Insanely hot inside. Slow and terrible customer service. The employees are all teenagers who hate everything and everyone. I used to frequent a Tropical Smoothie Cafe in El Paso, TX that was great.. this one was so disappointing. One of the workers acted like I was completely inconveniencing her as I was just trying to get my husband’s order since mine was sitting in a bag melting for well over 10 minutes. They didn’t have the ingredients to make the smoothie he ordered which i wasn’t told until the very last minute, and honestly I feel like they were lying and just didn’t want to make it because what I ordered had some of those EXACT ingredients. The girl who told me they didn’t have the ingredients to make it also listened to my request to make something else but never told anyone what I said.. so waited even longer because it wasn’t made until I finally spoke up to another employee myself to get the new smoothie made. I asked politely if they could just make a basic easy smoothie since they were busy… girl looked me dead in the eyes and made such a weird face and stormed off while her coworker obliged my request and made it quickly. Weirdest experience I’ve had in Winterville in the 2 years that I lived there. The look the girl gave me was so strange, I’m shocked she still has a job if that’s how she treats people, I couldn’t tell if she was a teenager or an adult so I didn’t speak up for myself when I should have.

The app is trash. I had points and then they were gone. Had to make another account and lost my points. 2 months ago I used the app only to find out today that those points weren't added. Utterly disappointing

One of my favorite food places. I will highly recommend this place. Food is great, staff is amazing, well trained and customer oriented.

This location I visit at least two times a week because of the kind atmosphere of the staff and the food is always delicious. But on this particular day which was March 25, 2026, around 2:48 pm, I walk into the store to place my order, the young lady that was taking my order was super sweet, so I look over at the young lady fixing two smoothies, she was using the scooper to scoop the ice into the blender, then she decides to reach her bare hands in the ice to finish filling the blender up with the remaining ice, and then go to the drive thru and take other orders, she is a young lady that never smiles, but I always pay it no mind, I just couldn’t unsee it, I don’t know why she would use her bare hands, it would had taken only second to apply gloves. I immediately cancelled my order, explained to the cashier which was super nice, that it was no fault of hers why I was cancelling my order and kindly walked out the store!!!! I want stop going to this location, but I will look to see if she is working, and I will just politely leave. This is the season that people get sick and by her using her bare hands to fix orders by touching the foods, and then to the register, then back to completing the orders is unacceptable, do better young lady with glasses and the braided ponytail. Young lady with the dyed green hair to the end/tips, awesome customer service, super nice!!!
