Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Do not ever go to this location. I was sitting in the drive-through for at least 20 minutes. Barely got a greeting, the lady with blue hair just handed me my food and didn’t even say thank you or have a nice day or even sorry for your unbelievably long wait. Horrible service.

    This is the 2nd time I have been to A whataburger...different location. Same result...non-peak hours (2:15ish) and 15 minutes in drive-thru line. The food isn't great, not even Hot. The 1st time I visited one I had a burger, bun was hard and heavy. This time I had a chicken sandwich...nothing special, the bun was heavy as the burger I had 3 months ago at the other location.

    When my family was excited about going to go eat at Whataburger for the first time , we never expected to have a terrible experience. So I place my order at the drivethur and was behind 3 cars. So we waited like 15 min in the drivethur just for them to tell us that we have reorder the food because they gave our food the person in front of us. So no, I'm not going to reorder and sit another 15-20 mins because of their mistakes. Definitely not going to Whataburger again!! Close it down !! Worst Experience Ever!!

    My husband and I treated ourselves to two burgers. had them delivered with Uber. We live in an established home in the I couldn’t eat the whole thing. My husband was definitely ill this morning, unfortunately around 1 o’clock I have been the porcelain queen throwing up it’s food poisoning. I’m older and I know the symptoms and my diet is extremely strict. I’m very careful of what I eat and I know what I put into my body and the Whataburger was the main meal I had yesterday OK but with that done it said I got up enough strength to call the establishment and let them know that the lettuce they’re serving on the hamburgers is ratchet my husband‘s retire, chemical engineer, and he went into the refrigerator and looked at the hamburger and he said the lettuce was moldy and wilted like it was 10 days old bingo called the restaurant. They didn’t seem to care just said they’d check out the lettuce situation click never again beware.

    The burger here is really really good. Be aware that the normal whataburger burger has mustard on it so if you don't want that I suggest going inside and using the kiosk to make a custom burger. That being said EVERY time I have used the drive thru there have been issues with the staff, one time I waited at the speaker for ten minutes while employees where just standing around. The worst part was when I pulled up to the speaker two employees where taking orders on the other side and they just walked away from me. No one took my order so I pulled up and just ordered at the window. Another time I went inside to order and paid $1.25 for two slices of cheese and I got all the way home before I realized I had no cheese ony burger. I drove back and told the girl at the counter and she did have them remake it but they took the other burger back? Like I don't really care but I'd it just going in the garbage? Also a manager was there but at no time acknowledged their mistake or apologised. I don't really care about that but it seems like something a good manager would do. This place is poorly run and Everytime I asked an employee a question they seemed to not know any of the answers and just blew me off. These where basic questions like how does the burger come normally and how much is it for cheese. So if you want a good burger you can come here but order at the kiosk inside and just bypass the employees
