The employees do not properly wash and sanitize the containers between uses; they only rinse the smoothie containers. This is a clear violation of health code and can spread food borne illnesses. I intend to return and record this behavior so I can submit the video to both the county and Tropical Smoothie corporate. Given the amount of corners they cut, it’s appalling that they always take at least 15-30 minutes just to make a smoothie for me, even when there are virtually no customers. The seating and tables are never clean either. Generally this location is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, viruses, and fungi, and I prefer not to get violently ill from just getting myself a smoothie.
