There was a mistake with my order and it got lost, and the staff handled it wonderfully! Very apologetic to the mistake and made sure I was taken care of. I didn’t get a name but the staff member who helped me had a purple hat on that I believe was Gengar from Pokemon and they are the PERFECT example of quality customer service! Keep it up!!

If I could give zero stars that’s what they deserve! They got my order wrong, all I wanted was a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. But I didn’t get the sausage on this biscuit. When I went back inside to ask for them to remake it, they had already thrown away the biscuits bc it was 11am and wouldn’t give me a refund after I kept asking!! So I settled for a sausage egg and cheese bagel. She made this order and threw it on the counter without saying anything else to me and walked away… of course I watched them microwave the food and slap cold cheese on it… this was terrible service and the food was chewy. Wasted my money going here!

This location of McDonald's needs serious improvement. The sandwich wasn’t fresh at all—it was dry and tasted old. On top of that, the restroom was extremely dirty. Really disappointing experience.

As of March 2026, this place is a dumpster fire. During visits to Wilmington, I have gone to this McDonald's for breakfast about a dozen times in the past 3 months or so and it just gets worse every time. First of all, don't even bother trying to place an order inside unless you want to use the poo-kiosk (which are visibly dirty and there's not even any hand sanitizer present to clean your hands after being essentially forced to use them). There is no one staffing the counter and the rest of the staff, who can clearly tell there are people in the lobby waiting to speak to an actual human, will just ignore your presence until your frustration invites you to just walk away. I've tried ordering on the app, ordering inside, ordering at the drive thru...doesn't matter, the end result is always the same. I get the pleasure of a long wait followed by either getting cold, stale food or the wrong order entirely. If you're going through the drive thru, ALWAYS check your order from this location because I guarantee you, they messed something up. Oh, and if you're in the drive thru expect to get "parked" or asked to "pull up" regardless of how many people are in line. Clearly an indication of disorganized management and poor staff coordination. Regarding "food" quality here: the biscuits have the consistency of drywall (hard on the outside dry and powdery on the inside), English muffins are soggy, hash browns are either burned to a crisp, or barely cooked so they're greasy as hell and fall apart in your hands. The chicken inside the biscuit is either so tough you can barely chew it, or undercooked to the point where the breading is wet and mushy and you legitimately question the possibility of salmonella poisoning. Sausage patties are somehow dripping with grease, but also overcooked because they're dry on the inside. It is very apparent that this place does not have standard operating procedures governing their customer flow and food quality. Or if they do have SOPs, management doesn't enforce them. Whoever owns this location needs to actually visit and talk to customers. Observe what isn't being done right and then address the deficiencies because I'd be worried about losing my franchise license at this spot. Can't imagine that McDonald's corporate would support the lack of quality that this location is churning out in the mornings.
So, if you want to waste your time waiting 20+ minutes for "fast food" that arrives overcooked (or undercooked) and cold at the same time. This is THE McDonald's you've been looking for! Otherwise, if you're a sane person and expect even a small amount of value for your money, go to literally any other place than this one.
EDIT: 3/25/2026. No, McDonald's, I'm not going to your linked, canned-response URL requesting additional details. I already gave you substantial feedback on the myriad shortcomings of this location. What additional information could you possibly need that wasn't already provided? Making your customers have to go and repeat the review exercise on your own special site is not keeping the customer at the forefront of your operations. In fact, it makes it look like you're trying to just bury their complaint in your own internal system of bureaucracy so that you don't have to actually fix anything. You have enough information from my original review as well as the dozens of other reviewers who have recently shared similar experiences. Now get off your corporate butts and go DO something about it. Or don't. Your brand, your choice, I suppose.

Rude staff. Non verbal order taker, and the alarm on some item being finished (I assume) went off the entire time we were there. Dirty tables. Food was awful, cold fries. Miniscule spicy chicken in the sandwich. McDonald's has reduced the size of EVERYTHING. Even the soda tasted watered down and flat and I don't add ice. We won't be back.
