- BMBrenda McMathNov 15, 20255.0We have eaten at 3 different Penos over the years. One in Charlotte and two in Wilmington. This location is by far the superior of the three. The owners are super friendly and truly care about the quality of food they serve their customers. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! I was given a sample of the lentil soup as we were leaving. Wow! That is the best lentil soup I have ever had in a restaurant. Before we head back home to Kannapolis, we plan to stop here for lunch and to get lentil soup to take home. To top it all off..the restaurant is very clean…no dirty tables here! Try it when you are in the area. You will not be disappointed!
