  I didn't like it. The quesadilla was just too greasy. It upset my stomach. Actually the best thing was the cucumbers on the salad bar. I threw most of it away and ate some because I was so hungry. Here's a picture. I've eaten there a few times but I don't think I'm going back? The quality doesn't seem to be the same. Won't let me share a pic?

  We ordered foood for delivery through their website and our order was missing an entree when it arrived. I contacted the store and was told over the phone that they could give me a refund. I decided to drive to get my food because we still needed enough food to feed everyone. When I asked for a refund on even just the item that was missing I was just given a shrug and told they can’t do anything. I tried to explain that I paid for delivery, tips, drove out and now have cold food at home and that I was told over the phone I could get a refund but still nothing. What was really lacking was any communication or explanation, all I was given was a blank look and shrugging. I have loved the food and the business and let them know, but the lack of customer support and changing up what was communicated was appalling and makes me really wonder if I want to come back. When ordering delivery it will route through DoorDash, however after contacting DoorDash about the mistake they said the business itself is responsible for approving refunds. I would recommend booking directly through DoorDash so if you have any problems with your order you can go through their support not relying on the lack of customer support at Los portales. Also to add when I got home and opened up the food I ended up having to go pick up it was still the wrong order!! I ordered taco birria and stated it multiple times and came home to open my box to a quesadilla. Luckily all their food is delicious but the service tonight was the worst!

  This place is AMAZING! So authentic, food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is so kind. Highly recommend the passion fruit marg. The carne asada and carnitas tacos are to die for. The tortillas taste like they were made to order, like, right now. There is super fresh salsa bar. This is some of the best Mexican we’ve had in a long time. We are from southern Cali and have spent a lot of time all over Mexico. We are always longing for that authentic Mexican cuisine. This place is it! I wish I had found it sooner!

  LOVE This place!!! So good and authentic!!! Great customer service!!! It’s a small, no-frills spot, but perfect for a quick, delicious dine-in or takeout!!

  This is our go to place for tacos and all around amazing Mexican food!!! Staff is unbelievably friendly and kind, food is fresh and delicious every single time whether we dine in or take out!!!
