  My wife and I enjoyed the Antinori/Stags Leap wine dinner last night. Wines and food pairings were amazing. We had so many leftovers and enjoyed the whole experience all over again tonight. Kudos to Morgan and her whole staff. We have attended many wine dinners over the years and this dinner was one of our favorites. We are already booked for the December wine dinner.

  I came to dine in on November 11. My friend had recommended this place, I decided to give it a try I came with another friend. As soon as we were sat we overheard our “server” tell the host he didn’t want us. We also witnessed them shouting back and forth about him not having another choice but to serve us and still not wanting to. A young lady came to take our drinks and introduced herself, and said she was helping him out. After 6 about minutes he ended up coming never introduced himself (so we don’t know his name) he only asked us and we were ready to order we said no and he walked away never to be seen by us again. We were getting ready to leave but then a sweet young lady in a a white jacket came and took our order, brought our food, gave us refills and brought us more bread, she basically became our server, if it wasn’t for her I’d leave this place 0 stars.

  We visited this restaurant years ago and remained away because of our experience. We decided to give them another chance. The food was bland, the noodles tasted slimy, and the fries that were supposed to be special fries tasted like regular fries sprinkled with parm cheese. Also, some fries were under cooked. We decided to attempt to bag our food to bring it home and make it taste better. We will remain away. This place is not for us. The chicken tenders is a big no go. It should have clicked when we were told there was no Bar-B-Q sauce because this is not what they do. The positive, the soups. If we want to hold on to anything, it's the soups.

  I ordered the chicken parmeshan sandwich combo with salad. I asked the waitress about the marinara sauce that comes with it but she said no sauce came with it, nor had it ever but she could bring me some. She said there was marinara on the sandwich. I thought to myself, I thought I saw a picture of it before but maybe I was mistaken. At any rate, the sandwich was bland with a sliver of marinara. It was miniscule at best. I ate half and took the rest home to eventually throw away. I didn't like the bread either as there just wasn't any sauce there. I ran out of drink and had to ask the hostess for my waitress. I saw she told her and the waitress just went to the bar and started talking to the bartender and the hostess said again about my drink. I watched the whole interaction as I was in a booth at the bar. She acted like she was doing me a favor when she casually walked over. Mind you, the place was practically empty! If I return to this Carrabba's again, I won't order that sandwich, was a waste of money for me.

  Fast service and short wait. Vegan options are available but limited. I decided to order a glass of red wine and pair with 4 vegan sides: penne pomodoro, spinach, asparagus, and an Italian house salad with Italian vinaigrette. Yum! And most importantly, I had great service from Connor at Wilmington location! Thank you!
