After standing at the counter of the Arby's across the street for over 5 minutes without so much as a hi, we left and walked across the street to McDonald's. I felt like I was at an old school McDonald's. The kind of McDonald's where the employees welcome you, are courteous and seem happy to do it. This location checked all the bare minimum boxes ... (extremely) clean restrooms, hot food, correct order delivered to our table and employees who smiled and offered to assist when needed. I was so impressed, I had to take a moment to say thank you to one of the employees for taking time to do things the right way. Even more impressive, I dont recall seeing a tip jar on the counter! Thank You McDonald's in Whitesville, NC.

To order your food and pull up to the first window to see a dirty trashcan sitting right next to Halloween happy meals buckets that go to innocent litttle kids! Come on now that’s just LAZY not to mention NASTY! A trashcan should be on the floor not in a window next to and touching products your going to give to little children…..You mean to tell me there was NOTHING else that could have been put in that window besides a NASTY trash can?? McDonald’s you have got to do better!
