I looked at the board behind the counter. My order number wasn't there. And because it wasn't there, I had to take strawberry instead of apple pies. Had to get my own drinks. No matter how long the drive thru line is, looks like I have to accept it. McDonald's needs to get it together with their mobile app or they're gonna lose another loyal customer.

Will stop and eat grass off the side of the road before I go here again.

After standing at the counter of the Arby's across the street for over 5 minutes without so much as a hi, we left and walked across the street to McDonald's. I felt like I was at an old school McDonald's. The kind of McDonald's where the employees welcome you, are courteous and seem happy to do it. This location checked all the bare minimum boxes ... (extremely) clean restrooms, hot food, correct order delivered to our table and employees who smiled and offered to assist when needed. I was so impressed, I had to take a moment to say thank you to one of the employees for taking time to do things the right way. Even more impressive, I dont recall seeing a tip jar on the counter! Thank You McDonald's in Whitesville, NC.
