Since they moved from the strip mall around the corner, the store is too small. On the weekends you have to maneuver around pallets full if stock. Restocking is a good thing right? Well not at this store because they are always out of basic things like whole milk, orange juice, water, eggs, half and half, heavy whipping cream, etc. Sure they may have this in some other brand but I can go to another grocery store and find what I need every single time. If I have to go to another store for what I need then why shop at Food lion in the first place? The meat at this store is always 1 day from the sell by date so it's not possible to get meat for the week without something going bad if you don't freeze it. I spent $12 on a pack of pork chops on Saturday March 14 with a sell by date of March 17th. I pulled it out of the refrigerator today March 17th to cook it and it was absolutely rancid. I had to throw it away. Taking it back on a Tuesday at 5pm isn't possible when my family is waiting for dinner. This isn't the first time this has happened I've had to throw away hamburger and chicken on several occasions. Today was the final straw for me and I will not shop at this store ever again! I'd rather pay more at Harris Teeter than ever step foot in Food Lion again!

She stormed over and slammed them down next to me. Mumbled under her breath and stared me down… Very uncomfortable situation. I will never be back
