Let’s give it up for KAYLA!! she was the cashier located on front I came in around 3 pm . I had to come in and work due to a power outage so I was there for quite some time and when I say she made sure she talked to every guest that came in took orders with a smile and even after taking orders still suggested if there was any help needed to come to her I would say her attitude is a bright positive attitude the establishment needs .. other than that it could of been cleaned better table wise but Kayla did try her best to clean it in between customers I think it was a shift change prior to her coming in . But to end it all Kayla very sweet girl great job on having her be the front cashier. She also knows alotttt of customers which just shows she tries to make relationships to have loyal customers

The kitchen did not melt the cheese on top of our French onion soup. When my wife asked the kitchen staff if they could kindly melt the cheese, the cook rudely dismissed us. This was not consistent with Panera’s advertised recipe. We won’t be returning or recommending this location to friends or family. I’m leaving two stars because the young lady taking orders was kind and approachable.

I was a weekly customer of this location, but I will no longer be purchasing anything from them. There used to be a very nice lady named Kiersten who worked the register. She was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It seems that they have not only cut her from the staff, but have downsized their staff significantly. Now there is always a long line because someone from back of house has to come up and take orders, and half of the time they don’t know how to work the register. In the 3 weeks since I noticed the significant decrease in staff, one week my order took over 30 minutes, one week my order was just completely wrong, and last week there were no hot drinks available. I understand things can happen to the equipment used to make the hot drinks, but there was no urgency to fix the issue. It’s the middle of winter in North Carolina, no one wants an iced drink. I don’t blame the employees in the restaurant for these changes, they obviously have no control over a shortage in staff. But whoever is making these decisions in Panera’s management/corporate needs to realize they turned this location from decent to garbage.

I used to order this sandwich regularly back when Panera was at Crabtree Valley Mall. It was outstanding. Then less often at the stand-alone Panera on Glenwood. Still an incredible well made, tasty salad. I started picking it up in Wake Forest several years ago but immediately recognized a difference. First in the ingredients, it was often missing items. The walnuts, goat cheese, just missing. I excused it, I didn’t go very often. But now it’s just unacceptable. I hadn’t picked up a salad from Panera, any Panera in months, maybe a year. I ordered one the other night though and couldn’t believe what I got. It was full of lettuce core. Yes, the actual cores, several of them. And spoiled tomatoes. And just TWO apple chips, even though I paid for extra. The worst part was the chicken. There was so much chicken in it that I threw away 2/3’s of it and there was still a ton. Then I realized it wasn’t fully cooked. What has happened to Panera that they serve such garbage?

I ordered through the drive thru at night and the lights were off. I was the only car and it took 15 minutes to get my food with no apology for the inconvenience. The broccoli cheddar soup tasted old, watery and cold. Panera is really falling off and this shouldn't be given the high prices.
