  🚬🤢 Employee cigarette smoke is consistently overwhelming at this location. At 12:04PM on Wednesday, April 15, I observed four staff members smoking and scrolling their phones by the outdoor return cart area (hey management, check your cameras to have a discussion with these folks, I'm not one to post photos). Y'all need to take a smoke break? Fine, but do it in the back by the docks where customers can't smell it. It's bad enough to smoke on the job, but to tolerate team members doing this in view of customers is appalling. The smell of cigarette smoke is overpowering and immediate upon entering/exiting the store (and oftentimes noticeable in the parking lot). Not a great first impression 🤮 Makes you wonder what other standards and practices aren't being followed at this location in the deli, butcher, bakery, back of house, etc.

  I’ve been shopping at this Food Lion location since it opened. It’s always been a 10/10 experience in-store; and the pick-up service is convenient for me as a mom with two littles. The produce selection is really good, and we like to keep a look-out in the circular for good deals on meat (i.e. steaks, chicken thighs, etc.) and other grocery items. Economically, it is probably more expensive compared to other grocery stores (I typically shop at Aldi). But with the ease of pick-up and good quality produce, I’m satisfied with what I paid for 😊

  I like this new Food Lion. It's off the main road, which may be why it isn't as busy as the one on Main Street in Troutman (still my fave since I know where everything is located & know some awesome employees). Nice changes: the produce has its own little room, it has many more soaps, face cleansers, razors & the like in the center aisles; there's more parking & it isn't as crowded, generally. Bad changes: can only enter the store by the right side doors; feels more cramped; deli isn't as fresh (but is better stocked). Please let me know if my posts help you...:)

  They have alot of varieties to choose from. Fresh hot foods available also.

  I always have great customer service at the New Food Lion in Troutman! Tonight, I was super late and Mike/ Victoria In the deli were both incredibly helpful! I want to recognize Trina, Jacelyn and Nina for being so welcoming and professional as always . They made the visit quick and enjoyable. It’s always nice to shop somewhere that has such a hardworking and friendly team who get to know their costumers. This store hasGreat customer service all around — thank you all for making each visit such a pleasant one!
