I've ate here multiple times a week since they opened. I've seen many waitresses come and go but the one constant has always been the friendly atmosphere demonstrated by staff. The food always comes out good and as expected. I highly recommend.

My family and I were there to eat an early dinner. I will say that the food was good, but after our experience, the food isn't enough for us to give a glowing endorsement of the restaurant. Shortly after our food arrived (within 10 minutes), the waitress came to the table and asked if we wanted dessert. When we said no, she then asked if we wanted to go boxes. We all had a puzzled look on our faces, since we were clearly still working on our plates. We responded that we didn't need them yet, but we may need them later when we finished eating. After another few minutes of time, she came back and said, "no rush, but would you like to-go drinks when I bring the check?" We were still a little baffled, but we said that would be fine, and we would let her know when we needed the check. She told us that she would bring us refills for now. At this point, it was clear that she was trying to get us out of the restaurant. When she returned with the refills, my husband asked her directly if she was trying to get us to leave. He told her to take a few breaths and calm down. We would let her know when we were ready to leave. He explained that it was coming off like she was trying to get us to leave and that she needed to be careful of how she was coming off. She said, she wasn't trying to do that, and she was sorry, and that's when my husband told her that it's cool, but she needed to be careful. Were his words blunt and stern? Yes. But, he was not rude at all. He was just informing her how she was appearing to us and that someone else might not have reacted as kindly. That was the last time she came to our table. Her shift didn't end; she didn't have an emergency and need to leave. She just stopped serving us. As we finished, another waitress brought us the check. As this was going on, she not only served tables right beside of ours, but we also saw her look around the corner several times to check if we were still there or not, clearly waiting for us to leave. We still prepared to give her a nice tip in cash because we didn't have a problem with her service up to that point, but this behavior was ridiculous. If this is the general policy and operating procedure for 66 Grill and Tap House, then we will not frequent any such location again, as rushing customers out the door will never be appreciated.

I went in to pick up an online order, the hostess just pick at the bar, as I stood there waiting a waitress just reach into my personal space to get a drink off the bar, no excuse me or anything then gave me a dirty look, I get it the place was booked and busy but manners are free, the up side was the food was good, I wouldn’t be going back to the Thomasville location
