Great selection and competitive pricing. Staff are very cordial always thanks me for my service in the military. Most of time I just go for one item and end up having several items in my hand. And each time an team member asks if I need a cart and will go get it.

I placed a food lion to go order on 12/23, accidentally choosing this location instead of the one by my house, 2 hours away. When I noticed the mistake, I called the store and explained to the girl what had happened. She told me she could cancel the order and a refund would be issued. I was okay with that and apologized again as it’s Christmas Eve and they had my order ready. When I okay’d it with her to cancel, she hesitated and told me she couldn’t cancel it. I asked why as she just told me she could. She said hold on, put me on hold, and came back with a woman. She asked if I had a cancel order button on my side and I told her no. I heard them talking in the background about a credit so I said if the credit I valid in all food lion stores, that’s perfectly fine with me as I can go 2 miles up the road and do my shopping here. They started whispering and the woman told me she actually couldn’t do that because the store would lose money… she gave me a customer service number, who also was absolutely no help. now it’s Christmas Eve. And I’m 2 hours away from my groceries, yes, it was my mistake and I understand that. But you’re telling me that my $250 order in the 75k-100k you’re making today is going to matter? Now I’m on the way, in my 4 hour journey to pick up my order because people don’t value customer service or loyalty anymore. I’m very disappointed in this.
