This is the third time I’ve been here in the last month and a half. Staff is rude. The entire place runs at the slowest pace I’ve ever seen in fast food. The nuggets always taste like burnt oil. Today I can through with a mobile order and asked for sauce. They said to wait til I picked up my food to ask. So I did. They asked me to move to the last window and they’d bring my Food out. The kid that brought it out went to hand it to me and I asked if the sauce was in there since I wasn’t at a regular window. He looked dead at me and said yes. There was no sauce in the bag. Had to park and go in and he acted like it was a problem to give me sauce. Y’all really need to get your people trained. It’s the winter here. The slow season. There’s no reason that this is an every time occurrence or that the people need to be so damn rude.

Picture this: a 73-year-old dad piloting a Super Duty pickup, accompanied by his 31-year-old son who was actively auditioning for the role of “Patient Zero” in the 2025 Super Flu sequel. We set out at 8:00 a.m. on a noble quest to find an urgent care center capable of accommodating a larger-than-life, half-delirious adult child. After several medical pit stops and much wheezing from the passenger seat, we were finally headed back to the Bitchin’ Beach House—only to be stopped cold by Walgreens, who cheerfully informed us that the Tamiflu would be ready in just over an hour. Perfect. I was starving. My son, hovering somewhere between life and the afterlife, wanted nothing to do with a burger and fries. But desperate times call for questionable decisions, so I ordered a double cheeseburger and medium fries. Friends… I have not eaten at McDonald’s in years. Apparently, neither has my digestive system. The burger tasted less like food and more like something engineered to survive reentry from space. Clearly, recipes have evolved. Or devolved. Hard to say. By the time I retrieved the prescription and made it home, my stomach was staging a full-scale rebellion. I sprinted to the bathroom and promptly returned the entire meal to the Onwasa sewer system, post haste and without remorse. Phew. Lesson learned. Some things are best left in the past—like disco, leisure suits, and whatever that burger was made of.

Hit the drive thru for a med fries and large drink. My change was supposed to include 58 cents. I guess with the death of pennies they chosen to round to their favor. I checked the bills right away and didn't think about about the change as I usually do then after I left and noticed I had no pennies but I remembered the ordered came to $5.42 and I only got $14.55 back. even the receipt showed $14.58 change. Sure it is only 3 cents but it is the principle of the matter and that is a wrong way to do business. From now on I guess I pay with card only if they are going to withhold some of our change. (fries and drink were fine.)
