    Worst McDonald's ever!!! Never get orders right. They serve food with bugs in it. I watched them call the cops on a customer yesterday who was literally and peacefully just trying to place an order. The employees are horrible, lazy, and gross.

    Literally watch the manager James cuss out a customer and call the police when all the customer was trying to do was order food. I dont know all of what went on, but nobody deserved to be talked to like this manager was talking to this customer. The guy was just trying to get a cheeseburger. Truthfully, I hope the guy sues. This is nuts. Please go to another mcdonalds. I left before even placing my order cause I did not want to be spoken to that way or escorted away by police. Something needs to be done about this manager.

    I was charged for both pies I ordered full price instead of getting the deal. When I explained this to the manager James he refused to refund me and said to come to see him on Friday to get a free pie which is all kinds of messed up. I don't want to go anywhere to see him period. I'm a married woman and it was very creepy.

    If you're in a hurry don't come here. The food is not worth the wait. Fast food is no longer fast. I never use a drive-thru, I always go into the store. This store took 25 minutes to hand me my McDouble and small fry. I heard cussing from the kitchen and one of the managers. They seem to prioritize the drive-thru, and customers waiting inside wait forever.

    The Southport McDonalds owner must hear this: Your restaurant is severely lacking in all McDonalds customer service principles, safety measures, and Ray Kroc’s motto: Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Value 1) 5:16pm on 3/17/2026 Vehicle line wrapped around building and not efficient or effective service. 2) Went inside to order and customers standing and some sitting while waiting on their orders for 20 mins plus each. 3) Food service employees with back to customers moving at sloth pace; no sense of urgency whatsoever. 4) One employee with back to lobby with trousers down below buttocks showing grey underwear from lower back past buttocks! 5) Another food service guy picking his ear and digging for ear wax while loading bags with food with opposite hand and then with both hands. 5) Grill operator wore right glove only and worked spatula with left hand then grabbed spatula with right hand then opened freezer for meat and pulled out with left bare hand and threw in glove hand to separate with left bare hand to place on grill. Glove then removed from right hand soon after and burgers flipped with left hand on spatula or right hand on spatula. Why not wash hands and wear a pair of gloves? 6) French fries crushed on floor by vat and slippery for employees. 7) Bags dropped on floor near bagging station and left on floor for next employee to step on and slide or quickly shuffle feet. 8) Watched multiple customers come inside, never greeted, waited at counter, when asked to take their order a employee with his back to the counter/lobby turned around and then said, “We are not taking new orders until we catch up!” That customer and others then walked out of the restaurant without ordering. 9) My order was finally received and exactly 30 mins from placing my two value meals orders I was able to depart with a cold bag of meals! I highly recommend the owner contact me as I have much more to share as there’s no leadership or manager “in charge” of this location. In the event you have cameras watch them from 5:00pm to 6:00pm for an eyewitness account of my observations at most duty stations.
