Ah, New Years Eve at Bonefish Grill! Place was crazy! We arrived on time for our reservation but still waited 20 min to be seated (after they mistakenly gave our table to a couple that had a later reservation). Poor young lady at the reservation desk looked overwhelmed. Waited about 15 min after we were seated before a waitress finally came to take our drink order. Lots of the staff running around. After drinks came and appetizer and dinner ordered, we waited, and waited, and waited. About half an hour later (and after unsuccessfully trying to flag down a random waitress walking around the dining room with our boom-boom shrimp and giving it to a different table) our waitress finally came back and gave us a quizzical look when we asked where our appetizer was. She just said she would “check” on it. Obviously she forgot to put the order in. So we are now 45 min into our seating with just bread to eat. Boom boom shrimp finally came, and the wait began for our entrees. At about an hour and a half after being seated our entrees finally arrived. We weren’t the only ones in the dining room experiencing the same difficulties - the couple at the table behind us got up and left right before their entrees arrived. To their credit the food was up to their usual high standards (after we finally got a chance to eat it) and one of the managers came to our table to explain that they experienced a “large amount of orders at one time” which caused the delays. I asked her if they were short handed in the kitchen but she said no, they had their full complement of employees. She did comp two desserts for us which we took home, and to our credit we still left a considerable tip. Total elapsed time at dinner a little over 2 hours. Lessons learned: 1. Stay home on New Years Eve. 2. If you do go out, be prepared for anything!

Food is always good, and tonight being New Year's Eve was very busy, but service is still pretty good in spite of the high volume of customers.

The meal was amazing and so was the service. The brand of bonefish grill never disappoints and this location holds that standard as well. Everything was exceptional.
