  Did curbside on a Sunday. This was a good experience. There are times when I have used this service and it has taken my food more than 30 minutes over the set time. But it was on time.

  Outback has gone downhill. Been saying this for years but after a long day of travel decided to give it another try having been away for years. Unfortunately, food was a total disappointment.The "new salad" was a bag of shredded lettuce and red cabbage served in a bowl with rock hard sliced sirloin..not at all like the menu description, bread looked and tasted days old and the filet was undercooked. Not to mention my cocktail tasted nothing like what I thought I ordered so back it went. I could go on but bottom line not a fan and haven't been for years. Tabitha our server was excellent.

  We used to frequent the Smithfield, NC Outback Steakhouse several years back and it was just OK. We hadn't tried it in a while so for Linda's birthday yesterday, I took her shopping and then dinner at Outback. What a pleasantly surprising change! It was a WOW! Every employee in the restaurant was friendly and engaging and our server, Serenity, was absolutely top shelf. All the chefs, AL, Dee, Jordan and Alexis B were all on their "A" game because our delicious food could not have been any better. The owner/partner Fred stopped by to say hello, which always a nice touch. He said he really concentrates on adding staff with the ability to do the job, but with personality. They're like the family you see in a "Mom N Pop" restaurant. We noticed they all pull together and help each other out, making the dining customer the priority. I love dining where food, comfort, and service all culminate into an over tge top experience, and that's what Linda and I got at Smithfield's Outback!

  Our family was celebrating two birthdays and our server Taylor was exceptional! She went above and beyond to celebrate us and even gave us signed birthday cards by the staff. The food was great and the restaurant was so clean. But we will be back specifically to experience Taylor’s hospitality again!

  It has been years since I last visited. I stopped going because of poor service practices. The service seems to have improved by a small amount. That said, I ordered Fillet mignon and Lobster and was give Rib-eye and coconut shrimp.... Now, the real reason everyone should read this, the filth in the restaurant is unacceptable. Listen cleaning is easy. Every area I could see was filthy. To include every piece of dinnerware at our table. Each piece of silverware, plates and glasses. Under every table, each corner floor to ceiling, dirty. The dim warm dinning room lighting does not fool anyone looking. The owner, managers and each employee should be ashamed that they operate such a disgusting restaurant.
