  Just tried to go eat at sonic the service was absolutely dismal at best. They told us they were only taking drive thru orders then preceeded to take another person's order who was not in the drive thru. When we tried the drive thru they told us there were not taking orders at all. We were eventually able to order and were offered no explanation. Will not be returning also witnessed an employee smoking near the dumpsters and it was not tobacco iykyk

  Went to sonic earlier to order dinner and this experience was absolutely terrible and time-consuming. After waiting 5 minutes to order my food, they came to the speaker aggravated and annoyed with my order. Constantly had to correct the order and seemed to irritate them more. Got to the window, where they kept with the attitude. After taking my card, they said that it wasn’t working multiple times and that it was just saying declined. After about another 5 minutes i was able to see that they had not only taken my card for my food, but also had another $10.00 taken away as another transaction which was weird. They still told me that it wasn’t working and that they couldn’t see it. After speaking with the GM on the phone she agreed to give the money back. The manager told me that they have an “occasional” glitch in the system.. however the lady behind me which the order i thought i paid for said that her order was $12.00. I think these people are weird and sneaky and i wouldn’t recommend going there if you’re having a good day :)

  Sonic in Shelby is awesome, especially Mickie. She is amazing. She takes the time out to listen to her customers and make sure that your food is hot and accurate. She has beautiful people skills when dealing with her customers. If more restaurants had good people like her, then I believe business would be great. Thanks sonics team “Shelby”.
