As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

- BBBecca BirdNov 20, 20231.0Looking for something quick as you’re passing through? This is not the place for you. The food is really good but the service is so awful it’s not worth it. This was our go to spot every time we pass through Shelby but it just seems to get worse and worse so our most recent visit will be our last. Usually we’re the only ones there and somehow we still end up waiting 20-30 minutes for our food. More times than not we have to pull around so they can bring the food out to us (important to know for the next part). The last time we went, we tried ordering ahead to try and help move the process along as we knew we didn’t want to add on time to this drive. Well, when we arrived we were very surprised to see there were actually other people in the drive through line, so we tried to go inside to get our pick up order (we already paid) but they still haven’t opened the inside since Covid. So we waited about 10-15 minutes and the line only moved one car (there were 5 in front of us). We then saw a worker come outside to talk to another car, so we asked her if we had to wait in line for our order since we ordered ahead and paid, she s then confirmed that it was ready and sitting there but she would not bring it out to us, we had to wait in line like everyone else.. so we sat in line about 15 minutes and not a single car had moved so when we got up to the order box we explained we were the preorder but we’d like to cancel the order (I tried to cancel online but it said I needed to contact the store-which I told her) but she said there was nothing she could do for us. So we sat there stuck in line for about 30 minutes while our food had been paid for and ready the entire time. We ended up leaving cause we still had 3 cars ahead of us, and went down the street to Taco Bell where we were in and out in 5 minutes. Glad we finally learned our lesson and won’t waste our time here again.
