While I was tapping through the order, she returned from the ladies room with a look that said more than words. The restroom wasn't clean, and two nearby tables still hadn't been cleared. Then I glanced at the total over $20. For McDonald's? That was enough. We stood up and walked out before committing. Somewhere out there was a dinner that would be cleaner, healthier, and easier on the wallet. This just wasn't it.
