    I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience deserves to be shared. After a recent visit to Five Guys in Shallotte, I completed a survey about my experience. Morgan, the manager, reached out promptly and apologized, which I genuinely appreciated. She offered to make it right by remaking the order, refunding me in person, or sending compensation cards. I chose the compensation cards. On February 2, she asked for my mailing address. I immediately provided it, and she responded that she would send the cards out. By February 15, I had not received anything, so I followed up to confirm my address again. I received no response. On February 23, I contacted the corporate office and was told someone from the Shallotte location would get back to me. As of today, I still have not heard anything. What disappoints me most is not the original issue, but the lack of follow-through. If you offer to make something right, you should honor that commitment or at least communicate if there’s a delay. I hope this location improves its communication and customer service moving forward. Update: no further communication from the restaurant but the gift cards were in the mail box today, exactly four weeks after my purchase and the first communication. Thank you for following through.

    Haven't been to a 5 Guys in awhile, honestly wasn't worth it for the Cost. So I decided to try them again with there BOGO Promo. Went to place my order and they had turned off Online Ordering! You could only use the promo code online. I'll Never step foot back in a 5 Guys again! You can get a Much better deal at Chili's! UPDATE! I reached out to the "Owner"with the supplied Email (which I researched and is the Email of the franchise of southern NC and Northern part of SC) and have Yet to get a response. They just posted that Comment to Act like they care! 🙄🙄 If they Actually responded, I'll update further. 2/20/26

    The Five Guys in Shallotte North Carolina is exceptional! The girl at the counter was quick accommodating and helpful. I threw a lot at her with my low-carb order to include three sides of mayo (which I did not waste I might add) She took each request in stride, was pleasant and when the food came out, it was delicious! In this era of rising food costs and disappearing product Five Guys stands alone. Bravo 👏
