  I wish there was a review for no stars because that’s what would be given, my experience made me downright appalled and disgusted. As I was shopping near the meat section I had a worker approach me, I didn’t see his name tag because I was so caught of guard by him being way too close to my personal space, it was as invading a woman’s space was normal for him. He made me further uncomfortable by making inappropriate comments of sexual nature AFTER I told him I was married which I did as soon as he first invaded my private space. However he disregarded that fact and continued to follow me. I went to the bathroom to collect myself and call my husband, but as soon as I opened the door he was waiting outside of it and proceeded to hand me a piece of paper with his number on it. Out of fear I grabbed it and immediately left the store. Once I was safely home I looked up the number and the last name is spelled “Malloy”. Now I need my husband to come shopping with me so I feel comfortable even after he has worked long days himself. My experience was so degrading and I’m appalled. I can’t imagine how many other women have experienced similar, or I’m afraid even worse.

  It's always so clean and ppl working are very friendly. Anytime I ask for help finding something or if they had it in the back I was helped immediately.

  I went to food lion today at about 10:00am-11:00am 11/17/25. I stopped to grab a bag of bagels, it was the last thing on my list. When standing there trying to find the right ones an employee was pushing a cart, stocking. I moved out the way thinking she was passing when she stopped in front of me and what I was looking at then said “CAN YOU MOVE” so rudely with the aisle being packed. I thought of just grabbing one and going but she had blocked them all and made me go past them instead of moving for a second so I could grab what I needed. This was an older lady, kinda bigger, with a short gray hair cut. I didn’t catch her name, the interaction caught me by suprise so I just moved. I left right after because I already have social anxiety. I’ve always shopped at this food lion being that I live so close. But if I am going to be treated like that I’d fully rather shop somewhere else.
