    I am writing to express my deepest appreciation and bring well-deserved recognition to a truly remarkable manager at this Food Lion, Scott. Scott is an exemplary human being with a profound sense of empathy and a truly massive heart. I personally have knowledge of at least two separate and striking instances where Scott demonstrated extraordinary kindness and compassion. In both cases, the individuals I know were checking out and found themselves having the difficult and humiliating experience of realizing they could not afford their grocery bills. On both occasions, Scott, going far beyond his job description, discreetly and graciously reached into his own wallet and paid the difference, asking only for a simple return: that they "pay it forward." What makes Scott's compassion even more powerful is the selfless nature and character of the people he assisted. (Unknown to Scott) The gentleman Scott helped just last night was already embodying the "pay it forward" spirit; he was attempting to buy those groceries for his struggling sister and a friend who are experiencing food insecurity. Similarly, the other person I know of that Scott has assisted is a dedicated U.S. Navy veteran who regularly uses a significant portion of not only her time but her monthly income to ensure her hungry friends and neighbors are fed. Scott’s (and the others mentioned's) actions are a powerful reminder that true community service often comes from the heart and they embody community spirit. The world is in desperate need of more people like Scott and while I understand that a spotlight and recognition is not the motivation behind his good deeds, it is certainly well deserved and he absolutely needs to be celebrated for the light and goodness he brings to the world.

    I like how store is Manager is nice and helpful some cashiers need attitude check though need bigger parking lot though as Rockwell is growing and they did add parking needs more parking pick up is great never any issues
