Oak Steakhouse Raleigh continues the legacy of the original Oak Steakhouse in Charleston, SC, with a modern take on the classic steakhouse. Located in the Warehouse District of downtown Raleigh, Oak Steakhouse offers an innovative approach to steakhouse dining, serving farm-fresh dishes alongside steakhouse classics.
Under the direction of executive chef Todd Woods, Oak’s menu highlights the restaurant’s relationship with local farmers and purveyors. To complement the menu, Oak’s expansive wine list features California Cabernet and Old World reds, including a selection of Italian and Spanish wines, as well as an array of artisan domestic wines. In celebration of Raleigh's local brewery scene, Oak Steakhouse showcases local brews alongside domestic and international beers. Classic and creative, seasonal cocktails are also on the menu.

I ordered the Steak Frites and it was delicious. I also really enjoyed the Brussels Sprouts. Main courses were excellent! Only real criticism was clientele dress. When I confirmed my reservation, the response was business casual. So we dressed appropriately. When we walked in, however, there were alot of shirts and t-shirts, and ballcaps worn at the table. I get it, you're trying to put people in seats. But if you're going to have a dress code, enforce it, or don't have one. Aside from that, a great dinner experience!

Our server was fun to talk to, provided great recommendations, answered questions about the menu, and checked on us regularly. The bone marrow fries were super tasty and stayed warm the entire meal. The chocolate cake for dessert was massive. We split a piece of cake and still left with half of the piece as leftovers. Absolutely wonderful way to celebrate.
