I took my wife here for a surprise birthday gathering. I brought 5 friends in with me. We had a really, really great time. We had eaten here before, so I kind of knew what to expect. I stopped in before my reservation and told the front manager that it was my wife's birthday and that it was a surprise. She had a few great additions to throw in that made the night even more special for my wife. Service all around was really good. We did wait on a couple items, but nothing that took away from the experience. The food was what you would expect from a high-end steakhouse. It came out at the right temp and everything tasted great. I gave Atmosphere 4 stars instead of 5 because the table where we were seated is the big round one up front. It's not a "bad" spot and I didn't see anything else in there that could accommodate that party nicely. However, in that spot, it is a bit loud and tough to talk across that table. Not a big deal and well within my expectations, but might be something for management to think about - a spot for larger parties where the intimacy is a bit better. Oh, and while they do have an excellent chocolate cake on the menu, they did allow us to bring in our own raspberry chocolate cake for the birthday!

Overall spectacular experience!! If there's ever a wait time, it's worth the wait! First time here. Our waiter was Alex (Al) who provided the best customer service we ever had in our life💕He was knowledgeable on all dishes, patient, & never seemed to be in a rush at our table despite how full the place was. We ordered: happy hour specialty drinks, appetizers- breadrolls, deviled eggs & oysters, dinner-swordfish, venison, & mashed potatoes, dessert- peanut butter pie & baked alaska. Everything was absolutely delicious; we recommend the venison and mashed potatoes overall, least favorite was the swordfish only because the side it came with underneath was spicy which we felt didn't pair well. The desserts & bread were on the house per Manager Carly due to an hour wait time for our main course but we never complained, they're just THAT attentive. We even tried to tell them they didn't have to just from how impressed we were with the overall service. We can't wait to return🤩 Disregard any poor review; they're just left by people who can't appreciate or afford the art of the food. The food is super tasty & made delicately. Carly is a superb friendly & outgoing hostess and manager.

Honestly, not terribly impressed by the food. The Mac and cheese lacked flavor, and was mostly just plain al dente noodles. The ribeye was cooked to a good temperature, however also seemed to lack flavor. We ordered the lemon snowball cake, which was incredibly dry. The service and our waiter was fantastic, and the drinks were good too. Unfortunately for the price point, I'll go to Crawford Bros or Nana Steak next time.

This was a very nice upscale restaurant downtown Raleigh. We had several amazing dishes - deviled egg topped with a crispy oyster and caviar sauce - unique and savory. We had the beet salad which was on top of a creamy yogurt sauce. The citrus gave a nice pop of zest which paired well with the beets. Our main dishes were the Burger (with bacon jam 🤤) and truffle frites ; and the second dish was the duck legs on top of the most unique slaw. Environment was beautiful. One booth nearby must have been uncomfortable as we saw multiple groups sit down and ask to move a few mins later. Prices were a bit more than we typically pay on a date night but the food was so incredibly well done it was worth it. Overall a good place for a nice meal.
