  The food is usually good hot and fresh. My issue is the staff. I had ordered the filet o fish combo, on the bag smelled like a lemon scent cleaning supplies. I kindly asked that they remake my order. The guy came to the window with an attitude saying they don’t have cleaning products near that area etc. he went on and on with an attitude. I know what i smelled maybe it was just the bag but coming from someone that has been food poisoned twice before, I’m very careful when eating out. Why argue with me , he doesn’t own the store just remake my order. Finally he ask me to pull up and he would bring it out. I sat there for 10 mins or more waiting, I ended up having to get out my car and go in and i met him at the door with my order. At this point im nervous to eat it not sure if he had did something to my food. I ended up trashing it and just wasting my money.

  They are charging all veterans for their meals this morning after advertising free meal for veterans on Veterans Day and they have nasty attitudes about it. Dang on shame on you McDonald’s.

  Pretty bad today Sunday 11- 2-25 go thru drive thru at 10:45 am not able to serve soda AT All !!!! I pulled out of line and cancelled order. Location Briar Creek Raleigh NC. Pathetic

  To the female employee working the drive thru on the headset on October 25, 2025 at 2:30pm this review is for you. I pulled up to the drive-thru window and was immediately asked if I had an app code. Which we repeated several times 6338. The employee kept reading the code back wrong. (6358, 6348, etc.) I provided the code clearly several times, but the employee taking the order repeatedly claimed she couldn’t hear us and kept saying, “That code doesn’t work,” over and over again. It felt less like a technical issue and more like confusion or carelessness on her end. Instead of trying to resolve it professionally, she continued asking what the code was “for”, whether we were using it for points or something else as if she didn’t understand how their own system works. It honestly came across like she may have already applied the code to another order and not ours. After several frustrating attempts to clarify, we decided to leave without ordering. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this experience was unprofessional and a waste of time. McDonald’s is a global brand, and basic app code redemption should not be this difficult. Better training and customer service are needed. If she got off the phone and paid attention to what her “job” is she may have been able to take the order correctly. 1.) Did you I was dine in, take out, get delivery, or drive off? I drove off. Answer: Drove Off 2.) What did you get? Absolutely nothing.
