A large group of 10 went out for a birthday dinner last night after debating going downtown, we instead decided on Leo’s. I had a poor experience when Leo’s first opened but decided to give it another shot now that it’s been open for a while, but unfortunately not much has changed.
Our server was friendly, but quite unprofessional when it came to his recommendations and even described certain dishes to potentially upset your stomach. When the birthday girl ordered her steak medium & it was brought out well done, it was left in front of her while they remade it. Server asked if she had a dog she wanted to bring it home to. I have dogs and bring my leftovers for them, but not because I can’t eat it myself. Maybe a friendly suggestion, just felt unprofessional and not the time or place for it.
My dish arrived cold and the pasta was overcooked, lacked in flavor. It was the pasta M, the first pasta dish on the menu, I assumed it was the top choice. A few other dishes were cold. 2 steaks were not cooked correctly. Overall service felt disorganized & the quality of food doesn’t match the ambiance. We all spent $75-100 each including tip, not worth the value.
The establishment itself is absolutely beautiful. It has potential with many options on the menu and the ability to accommodate large parties. They have done a great job with the decor & keeping it tasteful without going overboard trying to make it “Little Italy.
I hope with some training & listening to feedback from customers who take the time to write honest reviews will improve this spot, would love to see it do better!

We had a group around 10. We ordered drinks, then apps. Before the drinks touched the table we were being asked about dinner orders… no big deal. Apps were good. Then entrees arrived 3 cold pastas and two extremely over cooked steaks later I sent the birthday girls steak back. 20 minutes later her new MR steak comes out and the server is asking for dessert orders. The birthday girl is 2 bites into her steak. They then proceeded to bring desserts and tell me they couldn’t find a lighter to light a candle for her. Mean while we comically see three separate candles on desserts go by. Was also told one dessert would be on the house and was charged for both. We never asked for a free dessert so why bring it up and charge us. All in all would not recommend going to this place and spending 250+ for Terrible food and service.

Chris was the GOAT tonight. We were a complicated 10-top and he was clutch under the bright lights -- just like all the all-time legends are.
Great service (some would say the best service) -- I'm sure Leo himself would be proud. If I could give 14 out of 5 stars, I would. Will definitely be back and if Chris isn't at Leo's, we're not going. If management sees this (and I know they will): give this man a raise! Thanks for an extraordinary dinner and we'll be back soon to witness greatness!

Fast food in a luxury interior. Simple fact that they do not carry extra virgin olive oil and serve some colorless vegetable oil with bread should have been enough of a signal, but we stayed. Homemade pasta was overcooked, potentially microwaved. My party’s chicken on the salad was definitely microwaved. When we were leaving, I saw a girl that looked like an administrator, in regular clothes (jeans and shirt) with a walkie talkie on a belt, cooking pizza. If there was no kitchen folks on duty then everything was indeed microwaved. Enormous potential, but they had like 3 people in eating, the rest were there for drinks.

I went Leo’s for the first and last time today. While the service was great and the atmosphere was nice the pasta which is what they are known for was subpar at best.
The cauliflower bites and calamari gets a 8.6/10. I enjoyed the bread as well. The Caesar was basic a basic salad nothing spectacular there.
My partner ordered the lasagna and I ordered the burratta. While he said the lasagna was a 8/10, I can not say the same for the burratta. The noodles were undercooked and the pasta sauce itself lacked seasoning and flavor. I asked for them to remake it only for the noodles to be worse the second time around, it seemed like they didn’t even try to correct it.
My waitress was amazing. She was patient and friendly. As I was hesitant sending it back but I simply couldn’t handle how hard and chewy it was.
As a courtesy she was kind enough to remove the inedible meal from my ticket which was appreciated, however I was really looking forward to some great pasta and they did not deliver.
