  If I could leave 0 stars I would. Came here for a birthday celebration for a family member, we had a reservation of 30. They ended up double booking and it took them two hours after our reservation time to even try to get us seated. While waiting for our seats the front area of the restaurant was so packed, people could not walk in or out. It was an unorganized mess and a fire hazard. Everyone surrounding the host table seemed to be complaining about the lack of communication as well. When they did seat us, there wasn’t enough seats. This place is a mess and the upper management and host did not seem to care at all that they were ruining such a special night. After being seated in a corner with not enough chairs. we were ignored and left to figure out the problem for ourselves. Never have we experienced such blatant disrespect which seemed to be rooted in something else. We could visibly see that we were being treated differently. We decided not to spend a dime and left.

  10 out of 10, I recommend! The atmosphere was amazing. The DJ was jamming! The food and drink options are endless! From the Quesabirria Tacos to the cocktail served in a Chinese take out box. They have different types of shows throughout the evening along with staff members delivering shots to your table in an airplane! This will definitely be my go to when I’m in the area! Shout out to Yeli, our waitress, as well as the General Manager (can’t remember his name). They were awesome!

The hostess, our waiter, and the entire staff were perfectly in sync, delivering what I can only describe as a superior customer experience that sets the bar incredibly high. From the cocktails to the appetizers, entrees, dessert, and even the entertainment—every single element transported us to another world. It wasn’t just a meal; it was an immersive experience that engaged all the senses. The flavors, the ambiance, the energy—everything came together flawlessly. A special callout to Carlos, who provided white glove treatment that truly made our evening memorable. His attention to detail, genuine warmth, and impeccable service elevated an already outstanding experience to something we’ll be talking about for years to come. We absolutely LOVE this place! If you’re looking for more than just dinner—if you want an experience that stays with you—La Buena Vida is where you need to be.   This will be my second time at La Buena Vida - Raleigh. I will say I've always have came late around dinner time and the atmosphere is lit!!! It feels like you're having dinner in the club, but the food and drinks both times were on point! No complaints there. Few complaints I would have would be the smoke in the air at times can be a bit thick and the lady that was waiting to seat us kept skipping over my party of 3 to be seated and had to remind her. First time i went i felt the music was SUPER loud but this time it was loud like normal in a club setting. Other than that I've enjoyed myself each time & will probably go again.

  Had dinner here with large party and the service was horrible. We had a reservation but it was like we surprised them. They brought our food out a plate or two at a time for a party of 28. I got water when we were seated but nothing for the duration. I asked several waiters for water and never got it. I ordered soup for an appetizer and it never came before my meal. My waiter never showed back up to ask where it was(however when it was time to collect the money and his 18%, he appeared). I asked another waitress who was working the other side of our table and she said we have a no return policy. How do you not return something I never got. Service was horrible. If you have a big party, this option is not a great choice.
