  This place is one of a kind. From the amazing dishes to the great service. I can’t say enough about the excellent service I received from Ammerly & Excarli. They are very professional, knowledgeable, kind, & great at their job. Every business will either succeed or fail depending on their service even if the food is not that great. Luckily this place amazing food and service. Ammerly & Excarli are assets to this establishment and will only come back when they are working to great excellent service. This place is also well decorated and I love the ambiance. I dine here at least once a week. I have been here many times for lunch and also celebrated a birthday at night which is a different experience from the day. I can’t wait to try other dishes but so far my favorite is the rib eye steak tacos with that delicious sauce and tender meat following up with churros for dessert.

  Do not believe the fake 5 stars that they post every few hours to keep up the ratings. This place is a WASTE of Money and Time!!! Went there at 3pm ordered something street tacos, chicken acp, and sushi… sushi took an hour to come out only to get a roll of rice with no soy sauce…. The ribeye street tacos was disgusting… it was not ribeye for sure! It tasted like how an animal farm smell. The chicken ACP was taken off the check after waiting 2 hours on it… the waiter said it was new cooks and they aren’t that great and it will still be a wait for the chicken ACP so we decided to cancel and leave. The drinks were good but not 15-40 dollars good. Paying for the shape of the glass with ice and a light. I don’t know why people are hyping this place. Do yourself a favor and skip eating here.

  Excelente experiencia gastronómica y atención de primera. Visité este restaurante y quedé realmente encantado. Desde que llegamos, Romina nos recibió con una sonrisa y una atención impecable. Estuvo siempre pendiente de cada detalle, nos recomendó platos deliciosos y demostró un gran conocimiento del menú. La comida fue espectacular: sabores bien equilibrados, presentación cuidada y porciones justas. El ambiente del lugar también es muy agradable, ideal para disfrutar una buena comida en compañía. Sin duda, volveré pronto. ¡Gracias a todo el equipo y especialmente a Romina por hacer de esta visita una experiencia tan agradable!

  I went to Buena Vida for lunch the other day, and honestly, it totally lived up to its name — it was a good life kind of day. The place has such a chill and cozy vibe, the kind that makes you want to sit, relax, and forget about the rush outside. The food was amazing — super fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully served. But what really made the whole experience special was Astrid, our waitress. She was so sweet and attentive, always checking in at the right moment, and she gave us the best menu recommendations. You can tell she genuinely enjoys her job because her energy just made everything feel brighter. By the end of the meal, my friends and I were already talking about coming back. Between the delicious food, the warm atmosphere, and Astrid’s incredible service, Buena Vida definitely earned a spot on my favorites list.

  Visited La Buena Vida in Raleigh with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time, and it turned out to be a really fun night out. The restaurant has a lively, upbeat atmosphere — full of energy, music, and color. Definitely a great spot if you enjoy places with a party vibe! The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented — everything we tried tasted great, and the menu had plenty of tempting options. You can tell they care about quality and presentation. The drink selection was impressive, and while the drinks themselves were good, they could’ve been a touch better to match the high standard set by the food. Still, no complaints overall — they were enjoyable and complemented the meal nicely. The upbeat music and TV screens around the space kept the vibe lively and fun throughout the evening. It’s not a quiet dinner spot — it’s a place for good times, laughter, and catching up with friends over great Mexican food. Overall, La Buena Vida lives up to its name — “the good life.” I’d definitely recommend it if you love flavorful Mexican cuisine and a festive, social atmosphere.
