  We enjoyed a fantastic evening dining at Jalwa this past Sunday. As others noted, the opening high note of this wonderful evening was when our waiter placed a glass containing dry ice and Indian spices for us to have a preview of the seasonings. Very dramatic and enticing as he activated this arrangement! I will be dreaming about my Madras Magic cocktail until our next visit while my husband raved about his smoked Old Fashioned. As far as food choices you could go with small plates, large plates or mains along with sides. We shared a plate of the crispy cauliflower with burrata . This was so beautifully presented I almost hated to dig into it but we devoured every last morsel! My husband ordered the Shrimp Do Piaza and raved about the flavors in his dinner. I had the Chicken Dum Biryani along with a side order of regular Naan. I loved the bowl of raita served with my Biryani as it helped cool the spices between bites of this amazing dish. And did I mention how absolutely delightful it was to be able to hold a conversation as the background music was mellow and low in volume? What a refreshing change from restaurants where you wind up shouting at your dining partner and the waitstaff over the annoyingly loud playlist! Our waiter, Brian, was wonderful--as was all the other waitstaff who filled our water glasses, delivered our cocktails and wished us a good evening as we left the restaurant. We highly recommend Jalwa and plan on bringing family there in the very near future. Please go to Jalwa and enjoy an evening of incredible cocktails, food and service. We will be back soon!

  Impeccable service and wonderful ambiance. We really enjoyed our experience and can't wait to come back. Our server Matthew was so patient with us and was so attentive to our young one as well. The attention to detail overall outmatches most restaurants I have been to, including the garnishes used for their drinks. The food is excellent, quality and service are well worth the price!

  Wonderful evening spent here: the food is so, so good, and very attentive and respectful service from Brian which made for a great experience. My friend, who is very picky about Indian restaurants, recommended a meal here, and I will be thanking her for a long time. Try to save room for the ice cream…they are made in house and they are spectacular. Brian made some great suggestions, and the food was just delicious. We will be back!

  Really enjoyed the experience at Jalwa Indian Bistro, the food genuinely stood out and tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared in a lighter, well-balanced way without feeling greasy or overpowering. Our server Matthew was excellent; he explained the dishes clearly and gave honest suggestions, which made ordering much easier. We tried the vegetarian platter that included paneer tandoor, vada cigar roll, hara bhara kabab, and palak paneer baklava, and each appetizer had its own distinct flavor instead of tasting repetitive like most sampler platters. For the entrée we ordered the Kofta Delight made with jackfruit, and that was the star of the meal; rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. Overall, great service and flavorful food, definitely coming back again.

  NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING!!!! Let me tell you I couldn't even wait until my meal was complete. I came for lunch. Beautiful, relaxing, and the food is absolutely scrumptious. Ive had my share of Indian and overall the years ive had to change my tolerance for the spice. Jalwa delivered on so many ways. 🫐 Thank you for the amazing services, for the chic ambiance, for the yummy mocktail. Everything on this menu felt unique and profound. Im just mad I waited so long to come. I kept my eye on you since construction and glad I made it in on my birthday week. People dont think about it. Go for it and come. I will definitely be back. Really wish I didnt live so far away. Remember yall, smile often, do good and always be grateful. Its contagious. ❤️
