I came 10 minutes earlier before their opening time and the owner himself received me with a welcoming smile and invited us to come in and dine. The staff is amazing, service is great. The food is from another World. We received a special welcome with a fountain of melting Indian spices making magical white cloud. Simply it is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Matthew was superb, very personable, humble, polite, and knowledgeable about all the food types. He also made some recommendations for music to hear. He made us feel like royalty.

You can tell that they are very passionate about the food that is served there. They gave great recommendations of foods and even what to do with leftovers. They just changed a few things on their menu. And they are starting a new 5 course menu that my gf and I are excited to try. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in the triangle. The mango lassi tiramisu was so delicious, light and not overly sweet. Perfect dessert to end the meal.

When we scanned the receipt to pay online, the Toast app added another 20% tip (not the restaurant like other reviews implied) simply remove the second tip as needed.

Also had the palak paneer baklava which was one of the most stellar things I’ve eaten in my life. Chicken biryani with pineapple pomegranate raita was amazing as well. To finish off, we shared the mango lassi tiramisu which was marvelous! The atmosphere and service was a solid 10/10, the staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable and leveled a five star experience to a hundred stars. Thank you jalwa, I will be back xx.

The drinks were good, but the food fell far below expectations — both in quality and value for the price. The karampodi lamb chops with mashed potatoes on side we ordered was very tough, nowhere close to flavor you'd expect. The dessert deconstructed shahi tukda was also a letdown — the bread was extremely hard, stale and didn't taste like bread at all, leaving an odd aftertaste. Overall, for the very high prices, the food quality and flavor were not even half worth it. Ambiance is ok and drinks are good, but if you're visiting for Indian flavors or value for money, this place may not meet expectations. Hoping they improve the food quality and authenticity in the future.
