This was a horrible experience I placed a online order at 8:01 and was quoted a time of 6 to 11 minutes to be done. I went in to pick up the order at 8:20 the order wasn't ready. Which was fine more and more time went by they were busy so understood the order maybe not being ready at the exact time I was quoted online. But I waited an additional 45 minutes and got concerned when I seen someone who ordered in store got there order and many other people who placed they order in store. So I went up to the desk and asked the lady working there how much longer would the wait be she said they were busy and it might take ANOTHER 30 mins or SO. At that point I requested to cancel my order, she then went and got her extremely rude manager who basically smirked while I complained about the wait and then walked off mumbling something that I couldn't understand. So much so to the point where I had to ask the lady working did he state he was going to cancel my order and he replied yes I told her that with an attitude. I'm not sure what they had going on tonight but this was unacceptable customer service and I WON'T BE SPENDING MY MONEY HERE AGAIN!!!! 0 OUT 10 wouldn't recommend.

I will NEVER get five guys again.
I got a "little" burger with only cheese and lettuce, a "little" fry, and a regular (smallest size) drink... I paid $17 dollars... AND they prompt for tips!!!
I hoped that the burger would be above par, but my burger from a local drive thru tastes better and the combo is only 7 bucks...

Very bad service, I’ve ordered a burger with fries. I asked her if she can put some of the fries before she season them. On the side for my son cause my son doesn’t eat seasoned and he doesn’t eat the whole order of fries by himself. Just wanted a little cup on the side, not seasoned out of the portion. The cashier said” we can’t do that”. When in the past, they kindly done it for me,
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Now, three decades after our first location opened in Arlington, Va., Five Guys – a fast-casual restaurant chain named for the Murrells' five sons – serves a classic take on hamburgers, fries and milkshakes in more than 1,700 locations across 24 countries.
You can read more about the story of Five Guys at www.FiveGuys.com!
How many restaurants does Five Guys have?
As of January 2026, we have more than 1,900 locations in over 24 countries!
Does Five Guys offer delivery?
Most North American locations offer delivery. The best way to find out if the location nearest to you offers delivery is to visit our website or download the app.
Additionally, we work with all major third-party delivery companies in the U.S., including DoorDash and Uber, so feel free to search for Five Guys through their platforms!
Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
