Considering how many different stores that have provided bad service and food, I believe it's due to a change in top management policy, or decline in the company overall. After several months of avoiding the chain, I tried them again only to be met with disappointment. Word of warning for this particular location, their cream cheese gave my entire family a light bout of food poisoning, the bagels were dry and misshapen, and the toasted bagels were overdone.

The amount they put on my bagel was extremely thin, to the point where it barely covered the surface. That’s just not what people expect from a true New York–style bagel. To make matters worse, when I asked if they had egg everything bagels, I was met with a snarky response: “No, we don’t use egg.” It felt unnecessarily dismissive. A simple, friendly explanation would have gone a long way. Overall, between the skimpy cream cheese and the unfriendly interaction, the experience was off-putting. I was hoping for something much better.
