Now I will say the bagels are good. I spend my money in this place all the time but today was one for the books. I was there at 10:38am, second person in line. I ordered, pairs for my food, then waited. Approx. six or more people after me received their food. Let me mention I was the only black customer in there. I asked for my money back and the manager Curtis who was sarcastic and rude tells me he had to call the store owner bc he can’t find where I paid but mind you he was the one who took my payment. I tell him the last four digits of my card and he’s questioning me like are you sure as if I’m lying. Haha funny thing is I work law enforcement I don’t steal and never have. One of the young men fixed my bagel finally but Curtis who by the way is a black man wouldn’t allow me to receive my food nor did he act as if he wanted to give my money back. People don’t go here, the service is horrible, they are rude, unprofessional, no social skills, no ethics, no morals but just rude. I felt discriminated against during this incident. Then he had the nerve to ask me could I show him the transaction, which I did bc I have online banking app but I had to go through all of this by a bagel worker. I have contacted corporate and filed a complaint. Also, spoke with another manager at a different location who explained to me this was totally wrong and he also explained to me that this location is a franchise. I plan to take this to the news but don’t spend your hard working money here unless you want to be discriminated against.

Went in this morning- several team members making food and one man in front of me- still took a while to get service. I gave my order and the young man asked me to repeat it. No problem. I ended up having to repeat it several times. Got home and all the food was wrong. Mixed up ingredients/cream cheese. Called and the first man I spoke too said “sooo your upset cuz your order was wrong?” In a mocking tone. He gave me to the manager who said the only thing they could do was have me drive back to the store, with the wrong food, and they would replace it. First the store is not close by for me and I have to work. Felt very dismissed and irritated that I spent 30 dollars for a wrong order, an over toasted/almost no cream cheese bagel, and a bad attitude. Been coming here for years and will not be returning

if you or someone you’re dining with have food allergies, i HIGHLY suggest you avoid this location.
the young employee asked “will you die” when i told him about my allergy and suggested that they “chatgpt it” when discussing how to prepare my order. the young employee had a laughing tone the entire time. neither he nor the older employee (who i assume to be a manager of some sort) knew how to prepare food for someone with a tree nut allergy, or even which products of theirs contained tree nut ingredients. the older employee/manager told me he did not recommend that i eat there and the young employee jokingly said “yeah don’t come back here”. this all took place in early october and i have yet to receive a meaningful response from bruegger’s. they said they would pass the message along to the regional manager to ensure it was addressed, but after a family member went back to the store to speak with someone, the store manager kept referencing a separate incident of someone else with allergies having issues at that store (which is even more concerning that this is not a first-time issue for them). i want to be clear: my issue is not that i was unable to order food- it’s the severe lack of knowledge and training surrounding food allergies and the inappropriate questions/comments from the employee. while i anticipate the same “we’re sorry this happened, please reach out to us on our website” that they respond to reviews with, i’m mainly writing this to warn others that may have dietary restrictions. avoid this location.

This place is a disaster. Messed up the order even though they weren’t that crowded. Very under staffed. Last time going here.

awful experience this morning. As I waited to pay for my food the gentleman stopped the process to help someone standing behind me. He then took his coffee order. A young lady started to check me out and she was told to hold on so the gentleman could check out the customer with a coffee who he allowed to cut in front of me. He then hands my food to the customer who ordered a coffee. Even the customer was confused and apologized to me outside. Absolutely awful service and not a single apology from the staff.
