The atmosphere is lovely and we were greeted immediately and seated in a comfortable booth. Service was attentive and we were giving time to make our choices. As a note to wine drinkers, they have a nice list! Unusual in many such restaurants. We enjoyed a lovey white from Italy :) For dinner, our usual, lentils, lamb naan. We did a 3 spice level on the daal and 4 on the lamb which was perfect for us. We felt welcomed here and our server actually told us he hoped we would return. I love a place that I could be a regular at if I lived here locally.

He helped us pick great dishes from the menu, made sure we had everything we needed, and was genuinely so kind and attentive the entire time. The service was outstanding, the food was phenomenal, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. It’s rare to find a restaurant where everything is this good: food, service, and atmosphere. If you love Indian food (or even if you’re new to it), you have to try Bazil Basil. We’ll definitely be coming back soon! Absolutely recommend the La Jawab Chicken, and of course Mango Lassi 😊
